Vladimir Belyavsky

Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra

Vladimir Belyavsky graduated from the Belarusian Academy of Music (2006). He was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in Belgium (2006, Ghent).

When he arrived at the Vitebsk State College of Music named after I.I. Sollertinsky, he led a brass band and was an assistant conductor in a chamber orchestra, and was engaged in teaching.

In 2008, Vladimir Belyavsky was invited to the position of artistic director and conductor of the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra. During his time with the chamber orchestra, he presented a wide variety of programs to the audience, from baroque ancient music to modern popular music. He has prepared programs for adults: "Christmas Concert" (to music by I. Strauss, R. Shchedrin, A.Piazzolla), "Baroque music" (from works by G. Handel, J. Bach, W.Mozart), "Music in dance rhythms" (polkas, waltzes, foxtrots, tangos); for schoolchildren – the Peer Gynt suite based on the drama by G. Ibsen, the Children's Album by P.Tchaikovsky. Under his leadership, the Symphony Orchestra actively participates in programs with Philharmonic soloists and other projects.
